From votejenniferwhite.com/:I have been a resident of Baltimore County for 14 years and currently live in Randallstown. Before making the Old Line State my home, I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit. My grandparents were a part of The Great Migration and the first African-American family that settled in Novi in the early 1950s. My mother and I both graduated from Novi Public Schools. In 2010, I graduated from James Madison College and the Honors College at Michigan State University and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2012. For more than a decade, I have worked in the non-profit sector protecting civil rights, advocating for public health and supporting community-based organizations. Currently, I serve as a policy and community engagement director at the Horizon Foundation in Howard County.

Right out of high school in 1973, Michael joined the United States Marines and served in a special unit called Ready Marine. He fought in the Vietnam War from 1973 to 1975. After the US Marines, in 1979, he received an associate degree in law enforcement and industrial security from Arundel County Community College. Michael T Brown received his BS degree in criminal justice from the University of Baltimore in 1982.
