I have spent nearly 20 years proudly serving the United States domestically and abroad as a U.S. Diplomat and Foreign Service Officer with the United States Agency for International Development until my agency was dismantled last year. A proud first-generation Mexican-American and former substitute teacher, I’m ready to bring passion, experience, and commitment as Delegate for Maryland District 14, where I will fight for world-class education, safe and healthy communities, a thriving economy, and a government worthy of the people it serves. If elected, I will be the first Latina to represent this beautiful, diverse district.
