From vote4stu.com:Born two months early at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore City and raised in Glen Burnie by young parents, Stu has deep roots in Anne Arundel County. The son of a utility lineman (Dad) and AACPS teacher assistant/support (Mom), hardwork and education is foundational. His plan was to enlist into the National Guard to help pay for college, God had another plan and his path took him to Salisbury University as a FIRST generation college graduate, where Stu paid his own way by working many jobs on campus and then founded the college golf team (a sport he didn't know & had never played). He received distinct honors: Dean's List, President of Dean's Advisory Council, Top Leader of the Business School, Leadership Symposium graduate, American Marketing Association, Residence Hall Association, Club/Intramural Sports.
